I have an idea for a new background and stuff, but I would really like to get more ideas from you guys. And of course (so I don't come off as the autocratic design control freak that I fear I am) if you want to create your own background images and stuff, I would be glad to help.
So please post any requests for color combinations, shapes, themes, hotties, fonts, quotations, etc. here.
Also, I had the best dream about meeting Dominic West. He was so nice (and really tall and smiley -- it bordered on scary for a second) and knew that I liked to draw and stuff. And then I woke up. *sigh*
In case choo don' know, Dominic is one of my many teevee boyfriends.

i'm visually uninspired usually. don't think i can be much help. most of my visual attention has been focused on reorganizing/moving in my stuff from the movein. ack!

Celebrity dreams can be bizarre, no? I know j.lo has appeared in your's before. I remember having a dream where I was in CVS buying femme-y stuff and clarence clemens was in front of me at the checkout(j, you know who he is---bruce springsteen's saxophonist). anyway, I was a little embarrassed about my items and didn't want to come off as the fawning fan. We started chatting and he gave me tickets to see the band backstage, and then, of course, I woke up.
so I am getting my hair cut tomorrow. I'm trying a new place that I saw on a billboard. does anybody have suggestions for new, cute looks for midlength hair? I think I want to keep it just below the shoulder.
a.c., i've been sporting pigtails lately.... they make me happy. maybe they could make you happy too. this blog also make me happy. let's all be happy together.
i like the new look! it's very different but more textured. i feel like we are all chatting in someone's fab lounge :)
re haircuts...meg ryan was my go-to gal for hair inspiration, but i'm not sure who i would think of now.
aging cowgirl, i think you should do some sexy layering just below the shoulder (no bangs...) something ultra femme...and then get like a pink cell phone case just to further throw people off (why this seems so uncharacteristic of her! but i like it! she intrigues me. candy-coated..depth).
the layout looks super fun....like some retro-mod wallpaper of our virtual hangout. lilbunny, this does make me happy too. :)
maybe if i stare at dustin nguyens picture enough before go to bed, i'll conjure up some dreams...yathink? will report back on that tomorrow.
aging cowgirl, I just got my hairs cut, and I like it very much. The stylist gently but firmly guided me away from the mullet I seemed so desperate to keep, so I now have a layered bob. I need to flat-iron the ends and bangs to keep myself from looking like a whacked-out Betty Boop, but that's OK.
I am very very entertained by J's vision for you, though. Maybe we can get a Swarovski crystal kit for your phone...though I fear it'll go the way of the mosaic project.
KM, I know the layout ended up being vastly different than the one I described, but after trying it out, I had to go with this one. The background is a fabric swatch from the custom-handbag site lilbunny posted a few weeks ago. I felt the need for bolder colors. I do all my work in Photoshop 7.
